Episodes

Volume 1
Ao wins a hot spring trip to Hakone for the group, where a gloomy Kyousuke rediscovers his resolve after a fierce, flirtatious duel with the inn’s dog-spirit owner, Tomoe. Meanwhile, Shidou’s supernatural police unit investigates a mauled bear in the forest, culminating in a sudden ambush where a mysterious black wolf abducts Kana.

Volume 2
The werewolf Rokkaku overpowers Lila and captures Kana, later defeating Shidou—revealed to be a werewolf himself—and taking Nadeshiko hostage before being redirected to the police station by Officer Tokui. Meanwhile, Kana learns the conflict is masterminded by Enjin, a vengeful Hiizumi branch family member seeking to merge dimensions out of hatred, who beats Kana for pitying him before heading to the station to meet Rokkaku.

Volume 3
Following an initial defeat that threatened Shidou’s twin daughters, Police High Commander Nadeshiko orchestrates a successful multi-phased strategic ambush against Rokkaku. Utilizing Lila’s illusions, Juri’s deceptive rescue mission, Tokui’s long-range sniper shot, and heavy strikes from Takemura and Nadeshiko, the force completely neutralizes the villain. Cut off by Yuuhi and Mariabelle, Rokkaku is ultimately defeated, allowing Shidou’s family to safely reunite while the villain is ironically neutralized and repurposed as a talking police mascot in training.
