Woolly and Tig – 2

Sandcastle

Tig builds a sandcastle at the beach and wants to take it home with her. Woolly explains that the sand belongs to the beach and the sea.

The Birthday Present

Tig unwraps a bike for her birthday. Tig just wants to push the bike and will not take advice from her mum on how to ride it. Woolly persuades Tig that she might have more fun if she asks her mum to show her how to ride the bike.

Pandas

Tig goes to the zoo to see a panda but is more interested in buying a toy panda. Woolly helps Tig to forget about wanting the toy panda and enjoy seeing a real panda.

The Piano

Tig is learning to play the piano with Mr Tonka, but she won't listen to everything he says. Woolly shows her the importance of listening and learning.

Echoes

Tig and her friend Timmy visit a castle. Tig is scared of strange sounds in the castle. Woolly explains that the strange sounds are echoes and are nothing to be frightened of.

Getting Better

When Tig has chickenpox she finds getting better difficult. Woolly helps to make Tig's recovery easier.

Fussy

Tig has a fussy day. When it comes to tobogganing indoors, she has to make compromises and not be quite so fussy in order to have fun.

I Don't Smile

A photographer comes to Tig's nursery to take photos. Tig won't smile for the photographer because she is grumpy. Woolly shows Tig how a smile can make all the grumps go away.

Waiting

When Tig makes a cake, she does not like waiting for it to bake. Woolly helps her with the waiting game.

Flying

When Tig goes on her first aeroplane trip, it is Mum who suddenly gets worried. Woolly shows Tig how to help make the trip fun for Mum.

Excited

When Tig goes to a town festival, she is very excited. When she meets her friend Angel at the festival, she becomes even more excited, and Angel is not happy. Woolly calms Tig down, and she and Angel enjoy themselves on an exciting day.

Funny Tummy

When a boy pushes Tig by accident at nursery school, Tig doesn't want to go back and gets a pain in her tummy. Woolly tells her the importance of sharing her worries with her dad and the teacher, and her funny tummy goes away.

The Hat

When Tig goes on an adventure down the river with her grandad, she loses her favourite sailor hat. Woolly explains that losing her hat is just part of the adventure.

The Mountain

Tig climbs a mountain with her dad. On the way up she eats all of the sandwiches. Just before reaching the top of the mountain she wants to go home. Woolly tells Tig the importance and fun of finishing what you started.

Quiet

Tig visits a forest, but she doesn't like the quiet. Woolly makes her aware that quiet is more interesting than she might have thought.

Chuff

Tig's dad takes her on a day out on a steam train. Tig enjoys the day so much that she doesn't want it to end. Woolly explains that the best days can still be enjoyed when they are over.

My Favourite Dinosaur

Tig loves dinosaurs until she sees a real diplodocus at a museum and is scared. Woolly explains to Tig that the diplodocus is just old bones and there is nothing to be worried about.

Dobbin

Fireworks

Tig doesn't like fireworks. Woolly tells her there is nothing wrong with not liking something.

Holding Hands

When Tig crosses the road with her dad she refuses to hold his hand.

The Wedding

When Tig's Aunt Shonagh gets married, Tig is a flower girl. Tig does an impromptu dance and brings the wedding to a halt.

Thunder

Tig doesn't like thunder. Woolly helps Tig to overcome her fear.

Subway

Tig loves playing subway trains. Woolly shows her how playing subway trains on a real subway is not a good idea.

Rain

Dad has his car cleaned and then the rain makes it dirty again. Woolly shows Tig how to cheer her dad up and have fun in the rain.

Shadows

When Tig gets a new night light she is frightened by shadows. Woolly shows Tig how to have fun with shadows.
