Wilsberg – Season 1

Episode 1

Münster. Private detective Wilsberg is given the task of solving a suspected murder. Since the case happened 16 years ago and was filed away by the police as a suicide, he initially approaches the investigation with little motivation.

Episode 2

Private detective Georg Wilsberg is looking for farmer Rabenalt's runaway adopted daughter Tanja. Immediately after he has brought the girl back, he receives a follow-up assignment from Rabenalt's son Karl-Hermann: Wilsberg is to track down a woman who is secretly involved with his father. Without knowing it, Wilsberg knows the woman he is looking for, because it is Ines, an old school friend who has just met him in Münster. He therefore suspects that this meeting was not a coincidence, but a calculated move. That same evening he receives a call from the desperate Tanja: her adoptive father has broken his neck in a fall down the stairs; her brother has been arrested on suspicion of having pushed him. Tanja herself is in hiding so that the youth welfare office cannot take her away. Wilsberg finds her in a barn and takes her to his antique shop...

Episode 3

Private detective Georg Wilsberg is tasked with shadowing a client's wife and taking explicit photos of her in flagrante delicto. What begins as a harmless assignment develops into a mysterious murder case, because neither the client nor his wife are who they claim to be.

Episode 4

The Münster private detective and antique dealer Georg Wilsberg is commissioned by an insurance company to observe a car repair shop near the harbor. Recently, a suspiciously high number of accidents have been reported there. Wilsberg is supposed to take a closer look at the owner and find out whether he is staging the accidents himself.

Episode 5

Jutta Rausch, the Green City Treasurer of Münster, has received an anonymous threatening letter. As she is one of the supporters of a controversial construction project, her husband Jochen is seriously worried. He therefore hires private detective Georg Wilsberg as his wife's bodyguard. However, the wife is very stubborn and must not hear of a protector!

Episode 6

When Georg Wilsberg drives to Havenbroich Castle to inspect a library, he is amazed when his former student love Maria suddenly appears. Maria, who has now become the mistress of the castle, proudly presents him with her son Steffen, who is about to marry the wealthy Edith Wagenfeld.

Episode 7

When the body of Pastor Hollein is discovered in the confessional during a church concert, the tranquil episcopal city of Münster has its perfect scandal. This time, the chaotic private detective Georg Wilsberg has to investigate a highly opaque case.

Episode 8

When the body of a young art student is found next to one of her works of art, everything looks like a murder of jealousy. But the chaotic private detective Georg Wilsberg discovers a completely different story. Sophie had to die because she knew too much.

Episode 9

Private detective Georg Wilsberg is commissioned to investigate the circumstances of a strange accident in which Manni's uncle was seriously injured. Little by little, the chaotic snooper uncovers a crime that almost went undetected.

Episode 10

Private detective Wilsberg is tasked with solving the murder of politician Kerstenbrock, who was recently accused in the press of sexually harassing an intern. Inspector Springer suspects the grieving widow. Did she kill her husband out of jealousy? During his investigation, Wilsberg comes across evidence that Kerstenbrock was no innocent lamb.

That's just what private detective Georg Wilsberg needed: Alex's father has announced his visit and wants to know what progress his daughter's university career is making. Alex has "briefly interrupted" her law studies and wants to earn a living in another way.

Joachim Rehmer, the head of the Münster building regulations office, is found dead on a railway track. Everything points to suicide, but his wife does not believe it was a suicide and hires the Münster private detective Wilsberg, who immediately begins the investigation.

Episode 13

The headstrong investigator Georg Wilsberg meets Katharina again, his great love from school days. While he himself occasionally struggles to make ends meet, she is now happily married to her husband Matthias, mother of two children and owner of a magnificent city villa. Wilsberg is plagued by self-doubt: Has he made the right decisions in his life?

Episode 14

This time, the case seems very simple for the unorthodox private investigator: A young woman, Susanne Diepenbrock, commissions Georg Wilsberg to search for her missing sister Jessica. She suddenly disappeared and she cannot give a reason. But things are different with Wilsberg's best friend Manni.

Episode 15

Wilsberg in trouble: Tax inspector Ekki Talkötter has set up shop in the antiquarian bookshop and is making life difficult for Wilsberg.

Episode 16

The largest painting company in the city, Schlacke, undercuts almost every price offered by its competitors. Does the company employ illegal workers? Wilsberg is tasked with finding out.

Episode 17

Wilsberg is on his way home. Suddenly a young girl on her bike appears in the headlights. She slams on the brakes and there's a loud crash, but luckily no one is seriously injured.

Wilsberg had an accident and had to undergo an operation. This meant that he was confined to his sick bed, but his instinct for crime was by no means paralyzed.

Wilsberg is supposed to look after many pretty girls at a beauty contest. Someone is after one of the models and has evil plans.

Attacks in Münster caused uproar in the church. The grave of a gardener was broken into. His bones were placed in the famous Anabaptist cages at the Lamberti Church.

Episode 21

After the inauguration party of Alex's new law firm, Wilsberg witnesses Alex's former classmate Maike Lehmann having a drunken accident on the way home.

Episode 22

Georg Wilsberg has a problem: A young Russian woman, living illegally in Germany, is found dead in a hotel room - murdered.

Episode 23

Alex's first case is about murder. Thomas Winter's wife has been strangled. Thomas is considered a suspect, but protests his innocence. Alex helps him escape.

Episode 24

This time it is Inspector Springer herself who needs Wilsberg's help. A young policewoman dies shortly before she was supposed to meet Anna. But that can't have been an accident.

Episode 25

Wilsberg goes to celebrate his 30th graduation anniversary, even though he hates such class reunions. Shortly afterwards, his old school friend is murdered, but his body disappears without a trace.

Episode 26

After a party, a woman is found seriously injured on the street. Ekki's car is parked nearby. Anna Springer arrests the hungover Ekki, but he refuses to make any statement.

Episode 27

Wilsberg is hired by Marie Kaiser to spy on her husband. The professor is cheating on her. When Wilsberg observes Kaiser, he is shot during lovemaking.

December 24th afternoon: Wilsberg buys a Christmas tree at the Münster Christmas market. At the same time, Ekki is bored at the Christmas party with his colleagues from the tax office.

Episode 29

Private detective Georg Wilsberg is commissioned by Torsten Schmitt to shadow his wife Elvira because of an alleged affair.

Episode 30

After a visit to the Bullenball, Michael Klarmann is shot. Ekki, who was standing right next to him, is injured. From then on, Ekki believes that he was actually the target.

Episode 31

When private detective Georg Wilsberg receives a call from Inspector Springer at night, he is shocked. There is a dead, naked callboy lying in her hotel room.

Episode 32

Ekki has an attractive new girlfriend: Denise. When she repeatedly talks about her ex-lover Lotze, Ekki becomes suspicious and asks Wilsberg to shadow Denise.

Episode 33

Ekki is burned out and is looking for distance and silence in the Melkwegen monastery. But Overbeck is also undercover in the monastery. And Wilsberg is investigating the murder of Cellarer Bertram there.

The son of the couple Melanie and Thomas Rensing has been kidnapped. Ekki is able to persuade Wilsberg to help his cousin's family, as they do not want to inform the police.

One of Alex's clients is found dead after a meeting. Alex then disappears without a trace.

Ekki is about to move in with his steady girlfriend Silke. But shortly afterwards he is hit on by the pretty Charlotte. Ekki is ready for an affair.

Ekki has inherited his aunt's house and the field that goes with it. But this causes him a lot of problems. The corpse that he and Wilsberg find in the house is just one of them.

Richard Breiderhoff is accused of killing his wife. Meanwhile, Anna Springer has a blind date with Richard's brother. However, he has evil intentions.

Alex finds an amateur porn video of herself on the Internet. She immediately asks her godfather Georg Wilsberg for help before her boss finds out and her career is over.

This time, Ekki and his colleagues from the tax office are themselves being audited. But then irregularities in the operational processes are discovered and a colleague allegedly commits suicide.

Kamilla Marks, the owner of the Markshof Castle Hotel, is shot. Alex gets the suspect Enno Fellner as his client. He is said to have raped Kamilla years ago.

Wilsberg owes the tax office several thousand euros in back payments. On top of that, he is involved in a car accident in which a young hitchhiker dies.

Episode 47

Micki Hobelmeyer is acquitted in a rape trial. Wilsberg does not trust the verdict. He knows Micki from his student days and is not on good terms with him.

Overbeck has fallen victim to knockout drops. Wilsberg is tasked with finding out what happened last night and proving Overbeck's innocence.

Ekki causes trouble. He triggers a bomb alarm in the tax office. During the SEK operation, the male cleaner Hemidi is overpowered and a ticking toy is confiscated.

Lawyer Alex is representing her friend Ekki Talkötter in a damages lawsuit. Ekki slipped on spilled yogurt in the supermarket and tore a ligament.

Episode 51

Wilsberg is hanging around under a false identity with property developer Michael Lobland. He has everything Wilsberg doesn't have: a fancy car, a smartphone and money that needs to be invested.

Episode 52

Ekki is getting married. Wilsberg can't believe it. And he's supposed to be the best man. Despite his doubts about whether Kerstin Buckebrede is the right one, he can't say no to Ekki's request.

In the antique shop there is an old lady who doesn't know how she got there or where she lives. Wilsberg has a care problem. With skill he finds out that it is Hanni Haffner.

After a heated argument in a Münster bar, a young woman remains depressed at her seat. Wilsberg starts talking to her - and is amazed.

When high school graduate Emelie Boll disappears, wild speculation about the missing person case and the suspected perpetrator begins under the hashtag "woistemelie". Ekki Talkötter is the first to become the focus of the viral campaign: he was seen giving Emelie a ride in his car the evening before.

Episode 56

Ekki was offered a "tax CD" that allegedly incriminated everyone of importance and name in Münster. Wilsberg is supposed to help Ekki to check the credibility.

Episode 57

Wilsberg was actually looking forward to a Christmas party with Ekki, Alex and Anna. But that won't happen, as everyone has other plans or, like Anna, is "sick".

Wilsberg has allowed Anna to persuade him to go on holiday to Norderney together. His enthusiasm is limited, especially when he finds out that Anna's goddaughter Merle is coming along.

Tax investigator Matthias Lehnhoff's birthday party comes to an abrupt end after an argument with his wife. Wilsberg and Ekki find Lehnhoff dead near the restaurant shortly afterwards.

Elena Warnetzki lives in an allotment colony, fishes food out of garbage containers and leads a life without television, computer, smartphone and, above all, without money.

Retirement - that could actually be a nice thing. But Paul Dietze - Wilsberg's friend - has nothing to celebrate. The hard-earned savings are gone.

Private detective Wilsberg falls victim to a burglary. Worse than the shock of the crime is that the money he had saved for his cruise with Anna Springer was stolen.

Ekki is invited to Bielefeld for a friend's company anniversary. Wilsberg accompanies Ekki to see his friend Manni in Bielefeld. But the meeting doesn't happen.

Wilsberg has to go to the island of Norderney - with Tessa Tilker, a lawyer colleague of Alex from Bielefeld, who needs his expertise in inheritance law.

Private detective Wilsberg is asked to help the owner of a tailor shop who feels harassed by her landlord. Shortly afterwards, a neighbor in the shop is murdered in front of her eyes.

Episode 73

Detective Inspector Overbeck is supposed to give an explosive lecture to a select audience of experts. However, his presentation is interrupted by a mysterious threat.

Episode 74

The Münster police want to modernize and are considering including genetic genealogy in investigations. Overbeck's big moment seems to have come.

Episode 75

Wilsberg and Ekki are invited to lunch in a moated castle by lawyer Dr. Tessa Tilker. When another guest arrives, Tessa suddenly panics.

Meat manufacturer Thomas Heitbrink is accused of poor hygiene in the company. His lawyer Dr. Tessa Tilker instructs Wilsberg to find out who wants to harm the company.

Anna Springer is taking a break from her job to write a book about her experiences as a detective. Meanwhile, a young saleswoman is found dead in a delivery van at the Münster weekly market. Detectives Overbeck and Drechshage, who are representing Anna Springer in ongoing investigations, take over the case. René Rösch is soon suspected of having committed the murder. He has a relevant criminal record and a flawed alibi. Anna is under pressure to write her second book that is better than the first. At the same time, there are increasing signs that someone is after her. Could the threatening incidents possibly have something to do with the old criminal cases that Anna deals with in her first book? In her distress, Anna asks Wilsberg for help.

Disguised as a guest lecturer, private detective Wilsberg investigates a stalking case at the university. When a student dies, the homicide squad also gets involved in the case.

A murdered lawyer from her firm gets Tessa Tilker into trouble. During his research, private detective Wilsberg comes across details that soon put Ekki Talkötter in danger. Ekki is in an existential crisis. On the advice of his friends, he takes a break in a self-discovery retreat.

Episode 86

Wilsberg learns that Edgar wanted to meet with the whistleblower Frederik Meissner in order to obtain explosive material about a water price increase. During his research on behalf of Edgar's girlfriend Clara, Wilsberg soon comes across Meissner's body. Chief Inspector Anna Springer and her colleague Overbeck take over the murder investigation.

Student Jana Haumann claims to have heard a recording from a digital voice assistant announcing a murder. She contacts private detective Wilsberg for help.

A series of burglaries is keeping the region on edge. When a murder occurs during another break-in, both the Münster criminal police and private detective Wilsberg investigate the case.

Private investigator Georg Wilsberg is investigating for a client who feels cheated out of his deceased great-aunt's house. In her apartment, Wilsberg discovers a body. The unknown murder victim alerts the Münster homicide squad.
