While under constant surveillance, Polat investigates the motives behind this request, realizing that those using him aim to destabilize the Middle East and put Turkey in a difficult position. Those who revived Polat have already executed their plans for Nergiz, Doğu, and Esat. Elif fights for her life on the operating table, while Safiye wakes up in a room without doors, certain she'll be killed. Kılıç escapes the trap and disappears. As Polat's attempts to reach Istanbul are still thwarted, Nizamettin announces the first step of his war against the mafia and terrorism to the press.
