Mayumi Uehara meets a man calling himself Kamido and falls head over heels. Living in an internet cafe, Mina is running out of money. Ushijima awaits.
Episode 2
Mayumi continues consulting the fortune-teller about her love life while, separately, Mina and Kose continue to face cash flow problems.
Episode 3
Kawasaki borrows more money from Ushijima, while Mina and her mother branch out from prostitution into blackmail and Kose takes out a loan.
Episode 4
Mayumi celebrates her engagement to Shindo, not her former boyfriend; she doesn't know how unsavory he is. Kawasaki borrows more money from Ushijima.
Episode 5
Mayumi has trouble at work as a consequence of Shindo's abusive behavior. Mina receives a business card from a strange blond-haired man on the street.
Episode 6
Mayumi slips further under Shindo's control, endangering her job and her relationships. Threatened by Saihara, JP and Mina meet the mysterious Kei.
Episode 7
Ushijima and Inui decide to investigate the fortune-teller. Shindo blames Mayumi's suicide attempt on her parents and ropes in her sister Miyumi.
Episode 8
Mayumi tries to escape from Shindo after leaving the hospital, but she's foiled by her mother. Mina hatches a scheme to protect her mother.
Episode 9
Shindo's control over Mayumi, Miyumi and the Uehara family is nearly total, until Ushijima comes to collect on Mayumi's debt.
