The owner of a debt collection agency turns out to be involved in fraudulent practices himself. Clients pay him for collection work that he never performs. Although he sometimes actually collects money from debtors, it is often not transferred to the rightful owners. What follows is a lengthy and intriguing search for the whereabouts of this notorious ‘debt collector’. Eventually, the trail leads to a confrontation, where Alberto goes to seek redress together with one of the defrauded clients.
