With Spain about to join the EEC, William Woollard travels to Seat, the Spanish motor manufacturers in Barcelona, to look at their products and assess their impact on the British market. He also visits Coventry to find out more about an all- British development in four-wheel-drive technology that is catching on with the major car companies. Four-and-a-half million used cars are bought and sold each year and for many buyers this can be a traumatic, and sometimes expensive, business.
