Thark
Nouveau riche Mrs Frush buys a large country house from Sir Hector Benbow but complains that the house is haunted. A variety of characters go to the house to investigate.
The Outstation
Focuses on the relationship between Mr. Warburton, a refined and established British resident, and his new assistant, Alan Cooper, who is less formal and lacks decorum. Tip-Toes
Centers on a vaudeville act composed of Tip-Toes, her brother and her uncle, who try to pass her off as an aristocrat to snare a millionaire husband. Farcical complications ensue involving Tip-Toes' temporary amnesia and a marital infidelity subplot.
