Qin Wen and Lu Ming secretly join forces to uncover the real mastermind behind the explosion. Their investigation points to powerful figures within the system and exposes a deadly cover-up.

A high-ranking official is found dead in an apparent suicide, but Qin Wen doubts the story. Evidence begins to implicate Hou Jun, whose connection to Xia Xue and the factory runs deeper than anyone realized.
