The Challenge – Battle of the Sexes II
Battle of the Sexes 2 is the 9th season of the MTV reality game show, The Challenge. The season is directly subsequent to The Inferno. Battle of the Sexes 2 is the first sequel season of The Challenge, representing the sequel to the show's 6th season, Battle of the Sexes. Battle of the Sexes 2 premiered on October 4, 2004, and concluded on January 31, 2005. The Challenge took place in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Before each challenge, every team would choose three leaders. If the team won, those leaders got to vote off anyone else; if the team lost, one of those leaders would be voted off. No life-shields were used during this season.
Episodes
Howdy Sante Fe
The second battle of the sexes begins, as 36 former "Real World" and "Road Rules" cast members arrive in Santa Fe, N.M., and take part in the competition's first contest. Also: two contestants are sent home.
Dangle Drop
The teams take part in the first mission, the "Dangle Drop", which has them hanging onto punching bags while dangling over a lake. Later, the teams vote off two contestants.
Snake Pit Poker
The teams play "Snake Pit Poker", which requires them to retrieve poker chips from a pit filled with snakes.
Melt With You
The teams must melt blocks of ice that hold within them cell phones; the first team to make a call wins. Also: Tonya and Tina have a run in; and Tonya and Theo heat up.
Bombs Away
The teams compete in the "Bombs Away" challenge, which combines an eating contest and a puzzle-solving competition.
Junk Boat
The teams must use junk to make boats and do two laps in the lake. Later, the gals disagree about who to send home.
High Noon
The teams compete in a "High Noon" quick-draw paintball challenge. Also, Frank offers Angela advice on how to handle her teammates.
