Unfortunately, the kids are led astray with some naughty phrases by their grandmother. Meanwhile, after living in America for 40 years, Kathy has convinced her husband Gerardo to finally become a US citizen. With the help of a study session with the whole family, he is ready for the test.

Meanwhile, Gerardo is desperate to reconnect with his 13-year-old son Jaden. Unfortunately for him, Jaden wants nothing to do with his parents right now.

Kathy and Gerardo have decided to celebrate their 20th anniversary by renewing their wedding vows. As the extended family gathers for the celebration, Gerardo takes the opportunity to put Zac to the test and see if he's worthy of his daughter Bianca. But as the day of the renewal ceremony approaches, Kathy is starting to question her own motives for getting remarried - and it may not be good news for Gerardo.
