Serra Pelada: A Saga do Ouro (2014)

The miniseries tells the story of two childhood friends. Juliano and Joaquim leave their lives in São Paulo behind to pursue a dream: finding gold in the interior of Pará. The plot is set against the backdrop of the true story of the modern world's largest open-pit gold mine. More than 100,000 workers were drawn to Serra Pelada in the 1980s.
