Chapter 1
Gibão dreams of changing the city's name from Bole-Bole to Saramandaia. Zélia tells Lua she's pregnant. Vitória arrives in the city amidst the chaos.
Chapter 2
Cazuza complains about the coffin Aparadeira bought for him. Helena expresses her resentment toward Vitória and the Vilar family. Aristóbulo secretly observes the boarding house.
Chapter 3
Gibão tries to resist Marcina. Helena prays, and a rose from the altar falls into her hand. Zico mistreats his daughter upon arriving at the farm.
Chapter 4
Helena and Candinha talk about Stela's mother without her realizing it. Risoleta invites Professor Aristóbulo to her boarding house. Marcina sees Gibão with Rosalice and becomes furious.
Chapter 5
Risoleta argues with Aparadeira to defend Aristóbulo. Gibão has a vision that leaves him distressed and asks Leocádia for comfort. Tiago tells his mother he saw Stela.
Chapter 6
Zélia tells her mother about Gibão's vision, but she doesn't believe him. Firmino reprimands Romildo and Tonho for stopping work. The police chief sees Marcina leave the house through the window.
Chapter 7
Risoleta realizes she was injured in the fall and loses consciousness. Carlito tries to seduce Laura, but is rejected. Pedro discovers that Romildo wasn't arrested.
Chapter 8
Carlito mocks Zelia and lies about Romildo's whereabouts. Lua advises Gibão about his relationship with Marcina. Vitória reveals to Cleide that Zico is Zelia's father.
Chapter 9
Fifi sends an anonymous email to Aristóbulo about Risoleta. Zico explains to Joel and Firmino how they should plant the bomb in the city's Civic Center.
Chapter 10
Everyone rushes out to see the explosion. Gibão and Leocádia discover that Marcina lied to them. Marcina makes peace with Cazuza.
Chapter 11
Zico lies to Vitória and frames the Saramandistas for the attack. Dora and Rosalice worry about Risoleta. Candinha worries about Laura.
Chapter 12
Lua becomes suspicious of Gilson's testimony and summons Gibão to the police station. Zélia becomes ill and is taken to the Serro Azul hospital. Laura kicks Carlito out of her room.
Chapter 13
Zico gives Firmino the money to give to Gilson. Aparadeira and Dona Redonda are frustrated by Aristóbulo's lack of interest in Marcina.
Chapter 14
Leocádia leaves the church in a hurry, and Vitória is distressed. Bia tries to interview the former mayor. Marcina teases her boyfriend with Aristóbulo.
Chapter 15
Carlito calls Rosalice to his room. Risoleta is impressed by Belisário's story. Helena calls Zico, and Vitória is embarrassed.
Chapter 16
Rochinha catches Carlito in Laura's room. Vitória supports her children's petition. Stela goes to town, and Helena sees her and Risoleta.
Chapter 17
Zico demands an explanation for his support for Aristóbulo's campaign. Zico demands that his commission prepare a dossier to defame Gibão. Aristóbulo goes with Pupu to visit Cazuza's daughter.
Chapter 18
Pupu is curious about the problem of Aristóbulo's potential suitor. Leocádia is apprehensive about Zélia's pregnancy. Aristóbulo transforms into a werewolf.
Chapter 19
Risoleta argues with Zico and challenges him. Tiago gives up on meeting Stela. Carlito places a small speaker inside a flower pot.
Chapter 20
Helena is outraged by Vitória's presence in the church. Gibão thinks about how to prove the saint's false miracle. Risoleta has an idea to get into the church with the faithful.
Chapter 21
Laura manages to get hold of Carlito's equipment and reports everything to the family. Vitória tells Zico that they can only be together in secret. Stela tells Tiago to hide.
Chapter 22
Stela manages to prevent Zico from seeing Tiago. Risoleta comments that the patron saint's miracle was staged. Lua is ironic with Vitória when asking her about her lunch in the neighboring town.
Chapter 23
Vitória is upset by the way Lua treats her. Carlito tells Laura to go find him at the boarding house. Helena overhears her husband talking to his lover.
Chapter 24
Lua tells Zélia she needs to know about the affair between Vitória and Zico. Bia tells Pedro that her mother is compiling a dossier against Gibão. Tiago searches for Stela.
Chapter 25
Zico sends Firmino to get the file from Dona Redonda. Zélia finds Lua's treatment of Vitória strange. Zico finds Helena unconscious in the bathroom.
Chapter 26
Helena tells her husband that she wants a divorce. Carlito confirms Laura's accusation and insinuates that Vitória bribed Gibão.
Chapter 27
Lua talks to her brother about registering the name Saramandaia. Vitória takes to the streets to clear up the misunderstanding about the cachaça's name. Bia decides to leave home.
Chapter 28
Zico refuses to accept Vitória's separation from him again. Aparadeira tells Dona Redonda that Bia went to Gibão's house. Rochinha and Laura kiss.
Chapter 29
Risoleta is fascinated by Aristobulus' transformation into a werewolf. Gibbon fears his nephew might have wings like him. Tiberius threatens Victoria.
Chapter 30
Carlito tells Candinha that Helena wants to divorce Zico. Dona Redonda and Aparadeira sell accessories named after the town's patron saint.
Chapter 31
Gibão concentrates and makes the church bell ring. Candinha scolds her son for thinking about staying with Vitória. Zélia stops Zico from cutting in line to vote.
Chapter 32
Stela and Tiago get their great-grandmother and grandfather to chat on the tablet. Tibério tells his grandson his love story. Carlito sees Laura and Rochinha kissing.
Chapter 33
Gibão is shot. Laura and Helena watch Vitória in the hospital waiting room. Carlito announces that Saramandaia won, and Zico tries to get out of bed.
Chapter 34
Zico is dissatisfied with the referendum's results. Zélia is disheartened to learn that the city's name change will take a while to materialize. Marcina finds Rosalice in Gibão's room.
Chapter 35
Pedro insults Vitória, who slaps him. Aristóbulo finds Risoleta in the library and asks her out. Fifi sees Bia checking into the guesthouse.
Chapter 36
Zico refuses to speak to Vitória. Stela and Tiago consider setting up a meeting between Candinha and Tibério during Zelia's wedding. Pupu and Belisário visit Risoleta.
Chapter 37
Marcina expresses her resentment toward Gibão. Tiago can't bring himself to tell Vitória that he doesn't want to return to São Paulo. Cazuza brings a gift to Risoleta.
Chapter 38
Encolheu informs that Zico challenged the referendum, and everyone in the barbershop discusses it. A few months pass. The police chief notices Marcina's low body temperature.
Chapter 39
Aparadeira considers marrying her daughter to the police chief. Dona Redonda breaks the pharmacy scale. Aristóbulo transforms into a werewolf.
Chapter 40
Gibão and Marcina have their first night of love. Risoleta claims she'll find out what happened between Aristóbulo and Adélia. Zélia confronts Zico.
Chapter 41
Zélia asks Father Romeu to bless the city. Candinha suggests that she and Tibério reveal the truth about them. Carlito tries to convince Zico to sell Bole-Bole.
Chapter 42
Dona Redonda is shaken by the dispersion of her guests. Laura promises to help her niece discover the truth about her mother.
Chapter 43
Carlito manages to trick Rochinha. Dona Redonda discovers that Gibão has wings and, when trying to tell the town, explodes. Zélia feels severe stomach pains.
Chapter 44
Aristóbulo kisses Risoleta before she leaves for Serro Azul. Risoleta tells Rochinha what she learned about Adélia's death. Tiago unexpectedly appears in Stela's room.
Chapter 45
Zico stares at Vitória without Helena noticing. Risoleta reveals to Aristóbulo the reason for Adélia's death. Firmino finds Tiago leaving Stela's room.
Chapter 46
Aristóbulo and Risoleta kiss. Pupu and Belisário fear their son will turn into a werewolf. Stela decides to run away with Tiago.
Chapter 47
Encolheu decides to bury his wife. Aparadeira expels Gibão from Dona Redonda's procession. Pedro threatens Zico.
Chapter 48
Pedro forgets Tiberius' presence and reveals that Zico is the grandfather of Zelia's son. Risoleta tells her story to Aristóbulo. Helena tells Zico that she will take revenge on him and Vitória.
Chapter 49
Helena gives up on running over Vitória. Confused, Gibão has a vision of Tiberius. Lightning strikes Encolheu just as he kisses Dona Redonda's flower.
Chapter 50
Cazuza's heart skips a beat at Carlito and Risoleta's proposal. Rochinha discovers Laura and Carlito's involvement.
Chapter 51
Cazuza helps Gibão escape the act set up by his wife. Zélia's son is born, and Aparadeira is perplexed by the baby's appearance.
Chapter 52
Gibão reveals his wings to his family. Lua, Zélia, Vitória, and Leocádia are upset by the baby's rejection of breast milk. Risoleta runs away from Zico.
Chapter 53
Encolheu stops Fifi, Cursino, and Totó from plucking his flower from the square. Pupu shows Belisário to Father Romeu. Zelia realizes that Filipe is very ill.
Chapter 54
Zélia decides to accept Zico's help for Filipe's sake. Aparadeira leaves home. Risoleta considers offering money to force Firmino to turn himself in.
Chapter 55
Aristóbulo transforms himself to help Risoleta. Zélia doesn't accept Zico as her father. Aparadeira returns home and introduces Cazuza and Marcina to her parents and brother.
Chapter 56
Zico confronts Chief Petronílio and ends up arrested. Gibão turns back time and saves Marcina. Father Romeu is excommunicated for marrying a werewolf.
