Samson & Gert – Season 4

Episode 1

The escape of farmer Teun's bull leads Octaaf into bragging he is the town's number one bullfighter. His friends are not so sure about that and decide to subject him to a test.

Episode 2

Episode 3

Gert asks Alberto to look after Marlène's expensive earrings. Being displeased because he was not asked to do the job, Octaaf wants to prove Alberto is an inapt guard. Suddenly the jewels go missing.

Episode 4

Marlène has told Gert she does not like his outmoded furniture. Octaaf decides to help by selling those pieces and create new and modern ones himself, but they do not really turn out to be an improvement.

Episode 5

Octaaf buys some of farmer Teun's chickens in order to set up an egg selling business. He seems to attract a lot of customers, but there is one problem: the animals are not laying eggs at all.

Episode 6

The mailman is ill and today Octaaf and the mayor are replacing him. While sorting the letters the two men however unabashedly open them and laugh at the love messages of Samson and Gert.

Episode 7

Gert has ordered a kitchen robot at Octaaf's department store. After it's arrival Octaaf insist on giving a demonstration, but he accidentally wrecks it and ends up disguising himself as a new robot.

Episode 8

The mayor totally forgot about Octaaf's party he was invited to. He has already planned to go see a soccer match instead and needs Gert to come up with an excuse. Octaaf however notices the lie.

Episode 9

Gert has bought a golden watch as a present for Marlène, but by accident it is Octaaf who becomes its proud owner. Gert tries to come up with a plan to get the expensive watch back.

Episode 10

Alberto and Octaaf are selling four-leaf clovers in order to earn some money for their opera company and gymnastics club. Gert however does not believe in the power of those pieces of weed.

Episode 12

Gert has ordered a package and needs to bring it to Marlène's house, but it is too heavy for him to carry. Octaaf uses a forklift from the department store to help him, but that leads to some accidents.

Episode 13

Gert wants to sell the house and move to one which Marlène really likes. Samson however wants to stay. Octaaf and the mayor feel sorry for him and try to discourage the buyers that show up.

Episode 14

Because of some renovation works, the mayor temporary moves the town's toy museum to Samson and Gert's house. Their friends assume they can now get in for free, but are nevertheless refused entrance.

Episode 15

Alberto has made an artwork with clay, but the mayor laughs at him and refuses him to stage it at the museum. Octaaf feels sorry for Alberto and acts like an art thief to impress the mayor.

Episode 16

Marlène's mother is on holiday and Samson and Gert are asked to look after her duck. After a moment of inattention, the animal suddenly disappears. Octaaf and the mayor strengthen the search.

Episode 17

Alberto has bought a flying carpet at the jumble sale, not knowing the seller has deceived him. His friends get mad at Octaaf for laughing him in the face and decide to teach the bully a lesson.

Episode 18

Alberto's opera and Octaaf's gymnastics team both organize a party today. Gert had agreed to attend one of them, but he cannot remember which. Alberto and Octaaf argue and turn it into a bet.

Episode 20

Octaaf wants extra money and starts to work as a shoe shiner. After having done a great job on Gert's, Octaaf gets asked to clean the mayor's favorite pair as well. He accidentally messes them up.

Episode 21

Gert is asked to provide the questions for the town's quiz. Octaaf and the mayor are desperate to get a look at them, but eventually it is Alberto who believes to have found a first clue.

Episode 22

Octaaf gets mad because no one of his friends seems to react to his jokes. A little later Gert, Alberto and the mayor are each in turn surprised by a masked man who throws a pie into their face.

Episode 23

Octaaf shows his friends the dumbbells of the bodybuilder who temporary stays at his place. Alberto claims to be strong enough to lift them. As a former weightlifter, the mayor challenges him.

Episode 24

After receiving the one complaint after the other, the mayor assumes he got bad at his job. He decides to leave and go wandering for a while. His friends get worried and try to find him.

Episode 25

The mayor does not like the town's youngsters to bike to the city's disco at night and decides to set up a local one. Until the building is finished, Samson and Gert's house will serve as the party place.

Episode 26

The firemen are out of town to go see an important soccer match, leading Samson, Gert, Octaaf and the mayor to take over the job. They soon have to take action when Samson and Gert's kitchen gets on fire.

Episode 27

The mayor has invited a Dutch colleague. Because the man loves foreign food, Gert and Octaaf will be making pizza. It takes them however a lot of effort to succeed and unavoidably things go wrong.

Episode 28

Samson is worried because Saint Nicholas has not brought any presents yet. He blames Octaaf, because he failed to clean the chimney. Octaaf immediately takes action, but suddenly falls down.

Episode 29

The mayor is out of town to attend a convention. Octaaf proclaims himself as his substitute, but Gert and Alberto want to become mayor as well. Their fight gets quite an unexpected ending.

Episode 30

Gert is selling pies in favor of Marlène's ballet school. Alberto and the mayor desperately want to have a taste. Having no money, they set up a plan that involves them dressing up as oil sheiks.

Episode 31

The mayor announces the possibility of the village getting a new train station. Octaaf is enthusiast, since it has always been his dream to become a stationmaster. Eventually sad news arrives.

Episode 32

Octaaf is asked to get rid of some of the department store's unsold appliances. He will try to sell them by giving a demonstration at Samson and Gert's house, but looses his glasses right before starting.

Episode 33

The neighboring town's mayor is coming over to Gert's house to offer him a job. Gert has hired Alberto to come sing for them, but he does not show up. Octaaf also seems to have missed an appointment.

Episode 34

Alberto and the mayor are enjoying a Christmas breakfast at Samson and Gert's house. Alberto had promised to wash the dishes if the others prepared food, but soon seems to be trying to bail out.

Gert told Alberto he would happily attend his operatic society's ball, but decides against it when Marlène asks him to attend her dance school's performance on the same day. The mayor wants help to look smart at the ball, but equaling the legs of his fancy suit trousers proves tricky. Octaaf cockily demonstrates a new cleaning spray can on his own party suit, but didn't read the small print.

While Samson and Gert are helping the mayor with a pesky job, Alberto is trying on his king costume for an opera play. Eventually Alberto wants to relieve his friends from work, on one special occasion.

Gert spots the mayor's beautiful oil lamp and wants to buy it to give it to Marlène. The mayor asks a lot of money for it, telling that it is a unique piece. Alberto however discovers he lied.

Episode 41

Gert gets visited by his Austrian niece Heidi. Both the mayor and Alberto instantly fall in love with her. Eventually they even sabotage each others actions to conquer the girl's hart.

Episode 42

Octaaf's mother is coming over and Samson and Gert are asked to welcome her with coffee and pie. The mayor is hungry and plans to disguise himself as an old woman in order to get a delicious piece.

Episode 43

The local newspaper says that the neighboring village has a much nicer procession. The friends start looking for a way to improve theirs and soon decide to try integrating some majorettes.

Alberto thought to have an opportunity to eat a lot of candy now his mother is out of town, but it seems she has asked Jeanine to look after him. A video camera could sure help her to bust him.

Now that his housekeeper is ill, the mayor must iron his own clothes. He has no idea how to do it and asks his friends for help. Eventually the situation ends up in an ironing competition.

Episode 49

Gert is proud because Samson has won a drawing contest. When the mayor says he has also won a competition with his pet chicken, Gert laughs at him, until he suddenly gets to see a golden egg.

Episode 50

Now the department store he worked at has closed its doors, Octaaf decides to set up his own grocery store. He however still needs a location. Meanwhile the others help the mayor to empty the old library.

Episode 51

Jeanine wants to do a performance at the town's humor festival and seeks someone to strengthen her act. Samson and Gert misapprehend it, leading them to look after suitable marriage partners.

Episode 52

Alberto claims he is the fastest one in town and agrees to race against Samson. Samson quickly gains a big lead and takes a break to help Gert finish a job for Marlène. Suddenly he falls asleep.

Episode 53

Gert is training his first aid skills by covering Alberto in bandages. When leaving the house without taking them off, the other villagers get terrified of this scary mummy.

Episode 54

The mayor wants to perk up his office and he asks his friends to each paint his portrait. Because the best painter will get a pie, Alberto is desperate to win. He sabotages his opponent Gert.

Episode 55

To look splendid at tonight's costumed ball, the mayor decides to freshen up himself in a tub at his office. In order not to get disturbed, he pulls the handle out of the door, ending up stuck.

Episode 56

Alberto has been practicing to participate in the national weightlifting contest. His friends are sure he is overrating himself and want to pull a prank on him. They soon notice they were wrong.

Episode 57

The mayor is sitting in for an absent police agent, when he notices Jeanine's missing cash register at Alberto's house. He arrests him, not knowing Alberto only wanted to repair the broken appliance.

Episode 58

The mayor is organizing a big cleaning action, asking every villager to clear away as much junk as possible. Alberto seeks revenge after the mayor accidentally threw away his water gun.

Episode 59

Alberto got himself a pair of glasses with which he thinks he can hypnotize people. It obviously does not work, however Samson, Gert and the mayor soon make him believe it does, by pulling a prank on him.

Episode 60

Gert impresses Jeanine by making beautiful ships in a bottle. Alberto is jealous and says he knows how to make those as well. He however does not and eventually asks the mayor to go spy on Gert.

Episode 61

Because the baker is on holiday, everyone must travel to the other village to get a bread. Samson, Gert, Alberto end the mayor decide to set up their own bakery, but it does not run smoothly.

Episode 62

Samson and Gert suddenly spot a cow standing in their garden. Jeanine wants to use it to serve fresh milk at her grocery store, while the mayor is interested in its grass eating appetite.

Episode 63

Except for the skeptical Gert, all villagers are excited to go see the famous fortune-teller that will visit the town hall today. The lady however got ill and a disguised Jeanine will be replacing her.

Episode 64

In order to increase the popularity of her hobby club, Jeanine teams up some members into a rock band. The women want to perform at the cultural center and ask manager Gert to convince the mayor.

Episode 65

The mayor is sad because the village never has important visitors. Samson and Gert feel sorry for him and get Alberto and Jeanine to disguise themselves as a foreign king and queen.

Episode 66

Today the village has organized a surprise party for Samson, but an uninformed Gert and Marlène have planned to take him on a trip to the seaside. The mayor needs a plan to make them stay.

Episode 67

Few time after being gifted a little pillow by Jeanine, the mayor gets the one sneezing fit after another. Not knowing what he is allergic to, he leaves his office to go work at Samson and Gert's house.

Episode 68

Gert challenges his friends into a high jump competition. Eventually Alberto will be his only opponent, so Gert is already sure about his victory. Alberto however finds a way to cheat.

Episode 69

Samson and Gert were scared all night because of strange noises coming from their basement. Alberto laughs at them, while telling he is afraid of nothing. Samson and Gert try to prove the opposite.

Episode 70

Gert went fishing but did not catch anything. Because he is afraid Alberto will laugh at him, Gert gets Jeanine to disguise herself as a mermaid. Alberto seems amazed by the incredible catch.

Episode 71

It is Easter Sunday and the friends have agreed to share the chocolate eggs they find around their houses. Alberto however acts sad an tells them he could not find any. Soon they notice he is lying.

Episode 72

Gert's friends seem to his fresh orange juice so much that he decides to commercialize it. Because nobody wants to buy the grocery store's juice anymore, Jeanine decides to sabotage Gert's.

Episode 73

Gert is looking for a plumber to install his new toilet. Alberto comes over and decides to do the job himself. Afterwards he also sets up one at the town hall, but Gert and the mayor are not satisfied.

Episode 74

Gert has organized a survival tour, but ends up arguing with the mayor about who should be their guide. At the same time Jeanine complains about the lack of luxury they will experience.

Episode 75

Jeanine sets up a contest at her grocery store: the first person to guess the exact weight of the exposed ham, will get the whole piece for free. Gert and the mayor soon end up cheating.

Episode 76

Jeanine is displeased because the village's new bus stop will be set up in front of Samson and Gert's house instead of her grocery store. Eventually the mayor agrees to proclaim a referendum.

Episode 77

Samson and Gert receive an important package for the mayor. Because he is unable to come and pick it up himself, he will send a carrier wearing a straw hat. By mistake the package gets into wrong hands.

Episode 78

Samson has to give his favorite toy to Alberto after loosing a bet. While taking care of one of the mini horses of Marlène's riding school, Gert comes up with a way to earn Samson's toy back.

Episode 79

Samson and Gert have set up their own radio station. After they hear the mayor pop up to hold a speech, Jeanine and Alberto get jealous. They both want to be allowed to be on the radio as well.

Episode 80

It is Jeanine's birthday today. Not knowing they were actually planning a surprise party, she thinks her friends have forgot about it. This leads her to seek attention by acting ill.

Episode 81

The mayor is intrigued after reading a story of a mysterious hero. He disguises himself and visits his friends to help them get their current jobs done. They all wonder who is hiding behind the mask.

Episode 82

Alberto had to order a wig for Jeanine, but when they deliver him three pieces he seems to have made a mistake. He tries to sell them to his friends, but they all say not to be interested.

Episode 83

Jeanine has bought a new dress for a party of the hobby club. Thinking it is a unique piece, she is very proud of it. Then Alberto shows up, revealing his mother will be wearing the exact same one.

Episode 84

Gert gets very mad at Alberto for entering the house with muddy shoes, making him think he will never be allowed inside again. He comes up with a plan when Gert starts to seek a cleaning lady.

Episode 85

The mayor has borrowed a heavy motor cycle, but he notices the vehicle will not start. Jeanine offers to help, but the mayor laughs at her, telling women know nothing about mechanics.

Episode 86

Alberto's mother tells him he can only join his family outing if he survives one day without eating candy. His friends are concordant, until Jeanine suddenly starts selling fresh ice cream.
