As an equestrian pulls a chained Laxmi Bai en route to Jhansi, Larai Sarkar and Nelson watch contentedly. Nana Saheb's callousness pains a disguised Tatya Tope, Raghunath Singh and Ghaus Khan. Larai Sarkar vows Laxmi Bai's sacrifice at a Maa Kali temple once her coronation as Jhansi's queen takes place. A tired Laxmi Bai's refusal to order the opening of Jhansi's city gate angers them.
