Mrs. Donohoe realises why her son’s aren’t talking when she is congratulated at the bridge club for having a 25 year-old son who’s still a virgin.
Therese
Therese’s father Billy picks her up from work at the shop and they head home to the farm. He’s surprised that she’s not in a rush to finish dinner but she tells him that she’s not speaking to Bomber and she’s staying in. He ribs her about their tiffs and wonders what chocolates he’ll bring as a peace offering. This stings her and she tells him that it’s a serious fight and she’s angry that he won’t name the wedding day. Billy urges her not to rush it, which provokes her even more and she walks out.
Deirdre
It’s Deirdre and Eamon’s twelfth wedding anniversary. Deirdre heads to McKeons for a drink with Ann before her planned dinner with Eamonn. Scobie tells her he wants to hook up with her over the weekend, but she’s not having any of it.
Jennifer
Jennifer brings Molly shopping in town. Things are going well and she’s pleased that her Mother is in good form. They’re interrupted by Fidelma and Majella who start slagging Jennifer telling her that Alzheimer’s is hereditary.
