Sydney Workshop Week
The top contenders arrive in Sydney for an exhausting boot camp. The girls are pushed through non-stop vocal coaching with Erana Clark, complex choreography sessions, and high-stress group performances as judges evaluate their endurance and teamwork under pressure.
Final Auditions
Tensions peak as the remaining candidates perform individual showcases and final group harmonies for the judges. The panel deliberates behind closed doors, making the tough final cuts to lock in the initial five members.
Home Visits and Band Reveal
In a emotional series of surprise visits, the judges travel to the homes of Chantelle Barry, Katie Underwood, Sophie Monk, Sally Polihronas, and Belinda Chapple to deliver the news in person. The five chosen members meet as a group for the first time and prepare to move to Sydney.
Chantel Leaves
Behind-the-scenes drama rocks the production shortly after the girls move into their shared Sydney house. Following an incident, Chantelle Barry leaves the group, putting the future of the project in immediate jeopardy.
Tiffani Joins
With a gap in the group, runner-up Tiffani Wood is called back to join the band. The revised group hits the studio immediately to catch up on vocal arrangements and build chemistry.
Image Makeovers and Music Video Preproduction
The girls undergo major hair makeovers, styling sessions, and wardrobe fittings to craft a cohesive pop aesthetic. Meanwhile, they enter intensive dance rehearsals to learn the sleek choreography for their upcoming debut music video.
CD Album Cover and Music Video
Bardot heads on location in Sydney to shoot the iconic, leather-clad music video for their debut single "Poison". Between grueling multi-take dance routines, the girls pose for their official CD single cover shoot.
Media Launch Performance
Bardot faces their first major industry test: a live showcase in front of music executives, record label reps, and skeptical entertainment journalists to prove they are a viable commercial act.
Radio Promo Tour and School Visit
As public curiosity mounts, management sends the girls on an intensive promotional blitz. They tour major metropolitan radio stations for live interviews and make surprise appearance at Katie's school.
Critic Interview & Public Instore Performance
The group faces grilling interviews from harsh music critics questioning their authenticity as a "manufactured" group. Simultaneously, they hold their first massive shopping mall appearances for CD signings, drawing thousands of screaming fans and near-riot crowds as "Poison" drops nationwide.
Live Concert Special
With "Poison" soaring to #1 on the ARIA charts, Bardot takes the stage for a full-length live concert showcase, performing tracks from their upcoming self-titled debut album for an ecstatic crowd of thousands.
