You Can't Say Anything Anymore
Samy has slowly climbed the parliamentary ladder to become a political advisor, directing his group's maneuvers - This new daily routine is disrupted by Valentine Cantel's return to Brussels.

Background
Valentine meets journalists for an off-the-record chat before her parliamentary audition for the post of commissioner. Little does she know that Gesine is determined to see her fail. For his part, Martin is suspected by his German colleagues of having acculturated to his French president.

Ego to absolvo
Rose is persona non grata in the journalists' room, and Samy has a grudge against her. Valentine is under fire from her political opponents. Her appointment to the Commission is in serious jeopardy. Samy seeks advice from Eamon, who refuses to help. This time, he'll have to do things differently.

The Big Goodbye
Samy has kept his word, thanks to him Valentine is finally joining the Commission and he is preparing to join his cabinet. He goes round his colleagues in the Parliament to say goodbye. On the German side, Konrad and his team realize that Martin has turned against them to get Michel re-elected.

Valentine sets out to accomplish great things. But with great power comes great sacrifice. And that's no problem, especially when it's others you're willing to sacrifice.

Riders
The match gets underway. Team Parlement (Samy, Gesine, Sven, Eamon and Zeyneb) takes on Team Commission (Valentine, Carmen and Miguel). They are all there for different reasons: Samy for revenge, Gesine on principle, Sven to save the oceans and Eamon to teach the Commission to respect Parliament.

You Shall Not Pass
After an unsuccessful first round, Team Gesine is back on the attack. During a secret meeting in their HQ, they decide to generously deploy the full range of annoyances that the European Parliament can use against a Commissioner.

As Jean Monnet Used To Say
Pressure from parliament, led by Samy and Gesine, finally pays off. Carmen proposes a secret conciliation meeting. Carmen imposes her conditions: at night, in a remote parliamentary office, without a cell phone... and without Sven - she can't stand his long tirades any longer. Samy accepts, believing he's one step ahead.

Fish and Ships
Torsten in Captain Europe can't stand the constant pressure from his followers. Samy wanders around parliament, brooding over his defeat. Full of resentment, he decides to spill his guts to the press.

Europe, the Musical
Torsten is visited in a dream by Jean Monnet, who inspires him with a grand new project to save Europe. Valentine realizes that the Blue Deal has been saved by the rodomontades of the English. She is convinced that Samy has demonstrated his Machiavellian intelligence.
