“New Hunting Tales” is an anthology composed of seven independent stories linked by their theme - the search for identity and belonging of a African-descent Portuguese characters who struggle to be part of a society that often ignores and oppresses them.

Moamba
A young black man has dinner for the first time with his in-laws, Portuguese born in the 60s in Angola. Inspired by real experiences, Muamba tells the story of Leandro, a young black man, of Cape Verdean descent, who meets his white girlfriend's parents for the first time. The event, which under normal circumstances would already be stressful, turns out to be embarrassing and tense, the result of comments and misunderstandings from the four participants. Albano, the father-in-law, does not filter his words or shy away from making jokes about black people. Daniela, the girlfriend, tries at any cost to save the situation, exacerbating it. Lídia, the mother-in-law, is not evil, but she also does not escape the context in which she was born and raised. Guess what we have for dinner?
