The Draft; Smash Bash
Mentors Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais draft the top 15 chefs into their three teams. Then, the contestants are challenged with preparing an all-American smash burger that proves their cooking abilities are next level.
Curry in a Hurry
The 14 remaining chefs are tasked with preparing a curry dish that promises to pack a punch with only 30 minutes on the clock. The winning dish gives the entire team immunity and claims the top-level kitchen for the next challenge.
80 Degrees and Palm Trees
The 13 remaining chefs channel their vacation vibes when they're tasked with preparing a next-level seafood dish inspired by tropical island cuisine. The winning dish gives the entire team immunity and claims the top-level kitchen for the next challenge.
On the Go
The chefs are tasked with preparing a next-level international street food dish. But there's a twist: to mimic the "grab-and-go" feel of street food, the platform never stops moving throughout the challenge.
Don't Have a Cow, Man
The remaining chefs butcher and break down various cuts of beef amongst their teams to create sizzling steak dishes that earn a "well-done" from the judges. Then, two contestants face elimination as they enter a heated seafood cook-off.
You Wanna Pizza Me?
The 10 remaining contestants step into the kitchen with one single goal: to elevate the traditional pizza into a next-level masterpiece. The winning pizza gains immunity for the whole team and claims the top-level kitchen spot.
It's All Greek to Me
The nine remaining chefs embark on a gastronomic journey to the land of Tzatziki, Togas, and Tradition: Greece. Using a bounty of fresh ingredients from the platform, the chef who prepares the best Greek entree wins immunity for their team.
Squad Goals
The eight remaining competitors must work together in teams to create a cohesive three course meal. With only 30 minutes on the clock, the team with the winning menu remains safe from elimination.
Bingo, Bango, Bento!
The seven remaining chefs work individually to create Japanese-inspired dishes for their bento boxes. From tempura to sushi, the chef who constructs the winning box claims the time token and top-level kitchen for the next challenge. Then, with only 25 minutes to create a Wagyu beef dish, only one judge will oversee the chefs during the elimination challenge while two judges blindly taste test their creations.
Picture Perfect
The six remaining chefs are tasked with recreating a "picture perfect" dish using just a photo. However, once the platform leaves, the photo goes with it, putting the contestant's memory and cooking skills to the test.
Kombucha Kulture
The final five chefs must create a dish that won't leave a sour taste in the judges' mouth by using kombucha, the trendy fermented drink. Then, two chefs battle for a spot in the semifinals by cooking a winning dish using a wok.
Taste of Success
In the semi-finals, the final four chefs face a tangy twist as they're tasked with showcasing one of the classic taste elements. With limited time on the clock, every dash, pinch or sprinkle could mean the difference between securing a coveted spot in the grand finale or facing the heat in a final elimination cook-off.
The Final Level
The competition reaches its boiling point as the final three chefs race against the clock to craft a sensational three-course meal. With $250,000 and a year-long mentorship on the line, only one chef will rise to the top and claim the title of the Next Level Chef champion.
