Stephanie's shocked to see who PJ's mystery man is, and it doesn't take her long to get in PJ's business, making the trip a little less romantic. Back in Chicago, the boys are experiences changes in their professional and social lives, only some of which are for the better.
Dinner Party
PJ throws a singles dinner party in hopes of finding her Mr. Right. Stephanie becomes an author when she pens a relationship-themed book. Andy and Meredith hire a nanny, Elsa, who happens to be hot and from Sweden, and the boys hold nothing back in their competition to impress her.
The Shirt Contest
PJ lands a job ghost writing for a famous athlete but finds it a difficult task when the athlete becomes more than she can handle. Meanwhile, Brendan dives deeper into depression when he runs into his ex, Wendy, who is happily pregnant and in a relationship.
Spit Take
The gang, especially PJ, is stunned to learn that Bobby has proposed to Elsa who is in danger of being deported. Meanwhile, Mike joins Andy's Improv class and Stephanie's book is an instant success.
Take My Work Wife... Please
Kenny begins to date two women and this drives Mike insane. Andy decides to set Mike up with his work wife, Jo, in hopes to boost his mojo but learns she's only interested in Andy. Brendan takes a temp job at Andy's law firm and the guys read Stephanie's book only to discover she's used them as source material.
Dudes Being Dudes
Bobby's brother, Jack, shows up for Bobby's party and takes and interest in P.J. Stephanie meets a man named Warren at a bar and they strike up an informative conversation.
Opportunity Knocks
P.J. struggles with whether to accept the advances from Bobby's brother; Andy and Meredith decide to try couples' counseling after having a big fight.
Jack and Bobby
Tension between Jack and Bobby threatens the gang's weekend at a luxurious ranch; Mike connects with an older woman (Mimi Rogers); Kenny gets fashion advice.
John, Cougar, Newman Camp
Jack cannot be found on the day of the wedding rehearsal; P.J. is determined to set things right between the Newman brothers; Kenny and Stephanie try to keep a secret.
