Maloney – Season 2
Episodes

Catfish
Philip Maloney is persuaded to go on a blind date for a client. What begins as a harmless romantic assignment quickly escalates into a full-blown murder case. Between dating apps and the darker sides of human nature, Maloney remains characteristically laconic until the case hits him personally.

The clairvoyant
Following a dramatic incident on a psychic’s TV show, his assistant disappears without a trace. Whilst searching for her, Maloney stumbles upon the body of one of the show’s audience members. He soon begins to wonder whether someone here really does see more than others – or is simply a master of deception.

Neighbour’s garden
Maloney is summoned by an overly proper German man to an idyllic terraced housing estate, where a body has been found in a garden. Behind the well-kept façades, dark secrets come to light, and Maloney soon realises: everyone here has something to hide. And everyone has a motive for murder.

The Soup King
Maloney is tasked with finding out who is trying to kill the Soup King, Röllin. But before he can begin his investigation, Röllin falls from the window of his villa and dies. Whilst the police are slow to arrive, Maloney has to deal with a broken family and more dead bodies.

The crux of the matter
What initially appears to Maloney to be a simple case of mistaken identity soon turns out to be far more bizarre. Several dog urns seem to have been swapped or gone missing. And in the midst of this chaos, a human corpse turns up at the animal crematorium.
