Ashamed of Karenjit’s profession, the relatives shun the Vohra family which hurts Karenjit’s parents. Following this, Karenjit’s brother, Sunny decides not to apply for admission in a reputed college just to be with his emotionally disturbed parents.
A New Chapter Begins
Karenjit makes an appearance on Richard Stone’s radio show where she is asked naughty questions. The interview creates a stir in the society and Karenjit’s parents are ostracised by their community. Karenjit has no regrets for her life choices but her only guilt is the community backlash and the trauma her parents had to endure because of her.
