In search of inspiration, Iris goes to write alone at the country house of Catherine, her publisher. Not so alone after all, since Tom, Catherine’s husband, is there too. Iris returns from her stay feeling at peace, but between a child who accuses her of theft, a birthday party that turns into an olfactory apocalypse, and Claude drifting away, the problems start all over again...

Catherine invites Iris to the party celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Théophile publishing house. If Iris wants her book to be published under the right conditions, she needs to make a good impression on the director. A miniskirt, an old-fashioned hairstyle, and corny jokes: in her eagerness to make a good impression, Iris goes overboard...
Episode 4
Against all expectations, Iris caused a stir at the 100th anniversary celebration of the Théophile publishing house, which piqued Manuel’s interest. After breaking up with Claude, Iris realizes she has feelings for Tom. She finds an excuse to see him again, and just as they seem about to kiss, Tom feels faint. On Claude's advice, Iris goes to Catherine's house to convince her to plead her case with Manuel so that he'll reconsider his decision not to publish it. Catherine agrees, but she's in a hurry because she and Tom are leaving for Oslo to celebrate Christmas. On Christmas Eve, Iris is still thinking about Tom...
