The team get their newly-built fuselage off to the paint shop. Restoration guru Steve gets to work on a long-forgotten cousin of the Spitfire: the Hawker Typhoon.
Episode 3
The team take on the biggest challenge of the restoration - attaching the wings - and veteran Hurricane pilot Archie McInnes tells his astonishing story of survival.
Episode 4
With their warbirds due to play a starring role in the Biggin Hill air show, the team get their restorations back to the paint shop for some crucial wing components.
Episode 5
Factory owner Peter puts the newly-restored Merlin through its paces and pilot Jez explores the little-known history of the Spitfire as a reconnaissance aircraft.
Episode 6
After two years of hard work, the Spitfire is nearly complete and the team prepares for the maiden flight. Plus, Peter prepares for his next project.
