How to Survive the End of the World examines how the Earth would end if a catastrophic dark matter event in the solar system caused the planet to slowly move away from the Sun. The planet would freeze causing starvation and cold that would eventually kill a vast number of human beings. Some human beings, however, may live if they are able to tap geothermal energy.
