Sol tries hard to get a job, but the cost is going to be high. Luke confronts Sean about making trouble between him and Mandy. In Ruth's old flat, the peace is shattered as both sides prepare for battle. Cindy and Mandy are at loggerheads again.

Sean comes up smelling of roses, and Max has to fight for his own corner. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang set off for Ireland, where Carol is hoping for a bit of romance -- but their final destination shows Finn in a new light.

Tony's lust for an Irish beauty leads him to a startling discovery. Finn's secret is now out in the open and Kate fancies herself as a lady of the manor, but she has to fight off the competition first.

Adam is puzzled about his father's attitude towards Kerri, while Mandy joins forces with Max in his plight to protect Holly. Lucy finds herself trapped.

Rob returns to Hollyoaks, kidnapping Lucy at Kurt's funeral. Ruth, Lewis and Tony are shocked, and go after Lucy - ending up in Rob's trap. Max and Mandy try to make Angela see that Sean is abusing Holly. New students Geri and Nikki arrive in Hollyoaks, both taking an interest in Adam.

Rob's revenge takes a twist when he traps Lucy in a crash simulator and lowers it into the water. When Ruth falls into the water and Lewis jumps in after her, Rob pushes Tony into the water. Angela, Sean and Cindy fall out when they refuse to believe each other. Nikki and Geri meet their new neighbours: Alex, Sam and PHART the robot.

Rob continues to torture the group by playing with the test facility controls. Just as they find a lift raft, Rob punctures it, forcing them to jump overboard into the wavy water. Angela is horrified to find Sean shouting at and threatening Holly, and kicks him out. Anna arrives at HCC, but unknowingly rubs Sam, Alex and Geri up the wrong way.

Tony, Lewis, Ruth and Lucy manage to escape from Rob when Tony is able to open the hatch door, but the quartet face their next problem when they hit a pipe grate. Cindy takes Holly runs away with Sean, planning to live off her and Sean's earnings, benefits and Holly's money in the building society. Adam says goodbye to Kerri, having decided against travelling with her. Anna is horrified to find Geri kissing Finn on her bed.

The quartet are shocked to discover how well Rob has covered his tracks - they have no evidence! Max is horrified to learn that Cindy has taken Holly and left with Sean, he points out that Sean might blame Holly and take his anger out on her. Carol is upset to discover that someone has printed a page from her diary and stuck it on the phonebox, and people are laughing at it.
