MAY must finish a section of the operation within fifteen minutes but in vain. Though he can removes the abnormal vein, LAI is still in a comatose. MAY loses his self-control. CHUEN and WA blame MAY having pushed LAI to receive the operation. YAN persuades CHU to give up blaming himself for YING`s death. He should accept SUN. CHU buys a new lighter and tells SUN that he will light cigarettes for SUN with it. SUN is touched. LAI wakes up and MAY is excited. However it is only a dream. MAY feels hopeless but he has the courage again as there is a rainbow. He urges LAI to wake up and see it but in vain. He can only tell LAI stories beside her bed.
