A day trip into the country nearly ends in disaster when Alan and Andrew wander off by themselves.

After a stormy election campaign in which punches are exchanged instead of policies, Doyle is elected to the school council.

Miss Peterson ignores Sally's plea to be excused games but later has cause to regret her attitude.
Episode 6
The police still haven't caught the bicycle thieves so Pogo suggests they mount a guard on the sheds and Tracy starts an investigation of her own.
Episode 7
Sudhamani's father wants to take her away from Grange Hill because he thinks it's having a bad influence on her, but Trisha and Cathy persuade him to change his mind.
Episode 8
A delayed lunch break and some hungry school friends give Pogo an idea for making a quick profit.
Episode 9
Penny is banned from contributing to the school magazine after writing a provocative article exposing Doyle's lack of interest in the council.
Episode 10
Benny has to fight hard for his place in the district team, but Mr Baxter wants him to play for the school team instead.
Episode 11
Benny asks if he can be excused the cross country run to save his energy for tonight's district match. Mr Baxter refuses so Tucker decides to help.
Episode 12
During the half-term, Tucker and Benny start work for Alan's father and by accident discover that someone is stealing valuable building materials from him.
Episode 13
Susi joins the lunchtime judo class to give herself a break from school work, but runs into trouble with one of the school bullies.
Episode 14
The first trip to the Outdoor Centre ends abruptly when Cathy and Trisha ignore a warning that some parts of the building are unsafe.
Episode 15
A dare craze is sweeping Grange Hill but for Antoni it is carried one step too far.
Episode 16
Doyle tries to get his own back on Penny after she has once again complained about his poor performance on the School Council.
