Forensic pathologist Dr Elena Dimos determines that the man died only a few days earlier, but the cause of death remains a mystery. The detectives begin a complicated investigation into the man's family and business environment.

Rainer Fuchs, owner of the pet funeral home ‘Ruhe sanft’ (Rest in Peace), is found dead in his office by his wife Eva. A new case for detectives Anton Stadler and Julia Beck. It turns out that someone had put poison in the tea that Fuchs brewed every evening at 8 p.m. sharp.

Gerhard Nebeling is found beaten to death in the co-working space from which the digital nomad had most recently operated his internet sales platform. Detectives Stadler and Beck investigate. The first suspects are the landlords of Nebeling's temporary workplace: Boris Lengauer accused his wife Katrin of having an affair with Nebeling.
A job for Wiebke
An impoverished noblewoman is found beaten to death in a retirement home. The caretaker, who did not want her to report him for growing cannabis, comes under suspicion. Another noblewoman who profited from the cannabis cultivation also comes under suspicion.

After an award ceremony for Mr Achtziger, Jo finds catering employee Isabell Wanninger dead. Inspectors Hansen and Kaya take up the investigation.

Jasper Berg, co-founder of a software company, is found murdered in his holiday home. Detectives Hansen and Kaya immediately begin their investigation.

Kurt Fehrenbacher, honorary professor and chairman of an association for highly intelligent people, died after smoking a poisoned cigar. The detectives investigate.

Roman Wallner is killed on a remote road between the Bad Aibling districts of Mainz and Bilch. Detectives Hansen and Kaya begin their investigation.
