Sita learns about marriage
Sita uses the Shiv Dhanush to feed the hungry saints. Janaka apologises to Mahadev for this. Vishwamitra tells Lord Rama and Lakshmana that they have to participate in Dhanush Yagna. Janaka explains the importance of marriage to Sita.
Parvati blesses Sita
Sita performs Gauri puja and Parvati comes to bless her. Sita and Lord Rama pay their tribute to the Ganga at the same time. What mistake did Rishi Gautam make that Lord Rama had to correct?
Lord Rama goes to Mithila
Lord Rama helps Rishi Gautam reconcile with his wife, Devi Ahilya. Meanwhile, Sita performs Gauri puja and shares her reasons for doing so with Parvati. In Mithila, Janaka welcomes Rishi Vishwamitra, Lord Rama and Lakshman. How will Lord Rama and Sita meet?
Lord Rama and Sita meet
Lord Rama and Sita finally come face to face. Parvati learns all the details of the meeting from Mahadev. Seeing her husband in Rama, Sita seeks Parvati's blessings. Parvati, meanwhile, longs to meet her sons. Will Mahadev fulfil her desire?
Parvati visits Kishkindha
Ravana intends to be a part of Sita's Swayamvar. Mandodari objects, but Ravana does not listen. Meanwhile, Parvati visits Kishkindha along with Ganesha and Kartikay to meet Mahadev's son, Pawan Dev. They meet Anjani, who pays her respect to Mahadev for bestowing her with a son.
Lord Rama and the Shiv Dhanush
Narad worries about Ravana's next plan. While Meghnath provokes Ravana further, Mahadev assures Narad that Ravana will not be able to do anything. Lord Rama takes Gurudev's blessing and seeks his advice on the Shiv Dhanush. Will Lord Rama be able to lift the bow?
Indradev attacks Maruti
Anjani shares the stories about Maruti with Ganesha, Kartikay and Parvati. In the meantime, not knowing Maruti's true identity, Indradev attacks him. Mahadev brings him back to life as Hanuman. On hearing about Hanuman, Parvati and Ganesha desire to meet him.
Rama meets Sita in the forest
On Vishwamitra's request, Lord Rama sets out for the forest to fetch some flowers for the havan. In the forest, he meets Sita, who pretends to be in search of a deer. Lord Rama stays with her and accompanies her back to the palace.
Parvati learns about Hanuman
On hearing Hanuman's stories from Mahadev, Parvati wonders how he will help Lord Rama. In Mithila, as Lakshman collects fruits for Lord Rama in the forest, Urmila suspects he is stealing and attacks him. Will Lord Rama come to Lakshman's rescue?
Ravana wants Sita
Hanuman continues to trouble the sages with his questions and Brighu Maharishi curses him. As Sita frets about who her husband will be, Parvati blesses her and asks her not to worry. Despite Mandodari's objection, Ravana plans to bring Sita to Lanka.
Sita's Swayamvar
Janaka welcomes the guests to Sita's Swayamvar. The kings try to lift Mahadev's bow, but they all fail. Sunayna worries about Sita finding a husband. Sita is sad on learning that Lord Rama is a guest and not a participant. Will Ravana lift the bow?
Ravana is at the Swayamvar
Sita prays to get married to Lord Rama. Parvati wishes to help Sita but Mahadev stops her. Ravana interrupts the Swayamvar and announces that only he is capable of lifting the bow. Janaka permits Ravana to participate in the Swayamvar. Will he win Sita's hand?
Ravana fails to lift the bow
Mahadev predicts Ravana's failure. Ravana uses all his power to lift Mahadev's bow, but fails. He gets angry and declares nobody can lift the bow. Lakshman tells Janaka about Lord Rama's strength. Rishi Vishwamitra wants Janaka to give Lord Rama an opportunity to lift the bow.
Lord Rama wins at the Swayamvar
Janaka permits Lord Rama to lift Mahadev's bow. Rishi Vishwamitra and Mahadev bless him and he proves his strength by lifting Mahadev's bow. Amidst praises of Lord Rama, he marries Sita.
The Shiv Dhanush is broken
The destruction of Mahadev's bow angers Parshuram and he seeks an explanation from Janaka. Lord Rama apologises to Parshuram, who decides to test him. Meanwhile, an angry Ravana blames Mahadev for his defeat.
Ravana insults Narad Muni
While Janaka thanks Mahadev for making Sita's Swayamvar successful, Ravana plans his next move. Narad tries to console him, but gets insulted instead. In Ayodhya, Dasharatha and Kausalya learn about Lord Rama's marriage with Sita. Is everybody happy with the news?
Ravana plans to kill the rishis
Ravana's attack on the rishis angers the gods and Mahadev. Ravana orders the asuras to take revenge for his defeat by killing the rishis. To save the rishis, Lord Brahma decides to perform a yagna and seeks Mahadev's support.
Manthara poisons Kaikeyi's mind
Lord Brahma starts his yagna. Even as Mahadev and Parvati support him, Ravana tries to ruin the yagna. In Ayodhya, Manthara provokes Kaikeyi to conspire against Lord Rama. Dasharatha reaches Mithila and praises Lord Rama for obeying his guru and making Sita's Swayamvar successful.
The rishis are saved from Ravana
Even as Ravana attempts to ruin the yagna, Mahadev and Parvati help to make it successful. Lord Brahma and the deities thank them for saving the rishis. Meanwhile, on Dasharatha's request, his other sons marry Janaka's daughters.
