Season 2 will once again see the contestants create innovative, intricate and mouth-watering desserts in the hopes of winning a whopping $100,000.

Your Dessert Masterpiece Secret SOS Box Challenge
10 new pastry chefs were invited to the MasterChef kitchen to compete for a $100,000 prize and the Dessert Masters title. In their first challenge, they were given three hours to prepare their dessert masterpiece. Jana's Tunnel Vision dessert and John's coconut and lime creation were the top two, and John won the Secret SOS box, which would grant him a hidden advantage during a future challenge.
Movement Immunity Challenge
Contestants are stunned tonight when they find out that their dish must somehow incorporate movement—it might drip, turn, float, ooze, or dissolve, but it must also be delicious.
Smoke and Mirrors Mystery Box Elimination Challenge
Nine contestants - Darren, Katherine, Reece, Jana, Dan, Donato, John, Alisha and Emelia - are set to compete in the competition's very first elimination challenge.
Team Relay
The nine remaining contestants are competing in the Dessert Masters infamous team relay, for the chance to win immunity from the next elimination.
Australian Country Classics Elimination Challenge
The Dessert Masters kitchen has been transformed into a scene from a quintessential Aussie country town. A table is laden with country classics: lamingtons, vanilla slices and custard tarts.
Theatre Immunity Challenge
It's time to run away and join the circus! As contestants enter the Dessert Masters kitchen this evening, they are met with an incredible performance by Cirque du Soleil from their latest show, Luzia.
Culinary Techniques Elimination Challenge
Tonight's elimination challenge begins with an exclusive Amaury masterclass that sees the pastry master demonstrate four of his signature techniques. Our chefs have 2.5 hours to create a dessert.
Fizzy Drink Mystery Box Elimination Challenge
The Judges reveal tonight's challenge is to create a dessert inspired by bubbles, celebrating the joy that aeration can bring. The flavour of one of six Schweppes fizzy drinks must be incorporated.
Semi Final
Once upon a time, just five contestants remained to take on the Dessert Masters Semi-Final. To make it through, they must tell the judges a compelling story across three different, tasty desserts.
Grand Finale
The Dessert Masters Grand Finale is here! Our finalists must battle it out to see who will win the title of Dessert Master for 2024 and walk away with $100,000.
