Carla is torn between Victor and Mariel. Jandira seduces Mariel. Irene and Sônia exchange provocations. The Tavares family suffers Albano's death. Carla and Mariel spend the night together.
Episode 2
Pedro Jorge is arrested. Mariel attacks Jandira when she receives provocations from the maid. Jandira takes revenge on Mariel. Carla shakes Susana by getting engaged to Victor. Carla meets Mariel.
Episode 3
Mariel is delighted to discover an evangelical church and begins to explore the faithful. Carla suffers from Mariel's disappearance. Pedro Jorge makes a deal with Irene.
Episode 4
Carla ends her engagement with Victor when she admits that she has not yet forgotten Mariel. Carla pressures Jandira to get Mariel's address. Mariel decides to open her own church.

Rafaela is despised by Victor and suffers. Tavares is offended by Mariel's offer. Carla is scared when visiting Mariel's church. Tavares decides to gather evidence against Mariel.

Mariel does business with Pedro Jorge. Victor discovers Rafaela's lie. Carla is outraged by Celeste's comments. Mariel appears at Pedro Jorge's party and irritates Tavares.
Episode 7
Rafaela overdoses after being rejected. Carla asks Mariel to disappear from her life. Mariel torments the Tavares family. Mariel receives an alert about Jovildo.
Episode 8
Mariel seduces Mariana. Tavares is seduced by a mysterious client. Mariel gets documents from Jovildo. Mariel celebrates that the plan to overthrow Tavares is working.
Episode 9
Jovildo shoots Mariel when he hears slander from the pastor during worship. Carla is worried about Mariel. Tavares declares himself to Vilma. Mariana organizes a trap for Jovildo.
Episode 10
Mariel gets Tavares' confession about the affair outside of marriage. Jovildo is captured by Mariel's henchmen. Carla spends the night with Mariel and writes a letter to Victor.
Episode 11
Jandira humiliates Mariana. Celeste receives Tavares' confession and leaves her husband agonizing for his life. Mariel supports Carla after Tavares' death. Mariana hands over Mariel.
Episode 12
Mariel surprises Carla with a marriage proposal. A fire affects the Tavares family mansion. Jandira exposes Mariel's schemes to Carla. Etevaldo manages to arrest Mariel.
