Davey's geography lesson on Australia is very amusing at first with its dingos and kookaburras, but he soon tires of it and doesn't study for the test. He resorts to cheating, but that night his conscience begins to bother him.
The Caretakers
Davey thoughtlessly pours paint down a well. When he sees how others suffer because of his misdeed, he realizes that everyone is responsible for taking care of God's world.
The Hard Way
Davey learns "the hard way" at the natural history museum that grownups have rules "for your own good."
Rickety-Rackety
Davey's friend Larry has a little trouble with his French and starts smashing up the classroom furniture. Davey reminds him of the school cheer, and helps him prepare for a test next day.
Help!
Davey's friend Jonathan is rescued by Officer Dan and both boys learn appreciation for their police officer friend.
Boy in Trouble
Davey and Jonathan help Tommy, a poor boy in their neighborhood, by collecting bottles for money.
The Greatest
Davey has trouble with Nicky, a new boy who continually boasts about his father. But Davey feels compassion when he learns Nicky doesn't have a father.
Blind Man's Bluff
Jonathan's cousin Scottie, who doesn't like white boys, teaches Davey about racism. An important lesson.
Who's George?
Davey and Goliath learn about the saying "let George do it" when they visit Jonathan, finding out what it means.
Six-Seven-Six-Three
Dognappers are foiled by the identification number given to Goliath by the authorities.
The Zillion Dollar Combo
Davey and his friends form a band and must decide whether their first gig will be for pay or for free at a children's hospital.
Upside Down and Backwards
When Davey and Goliath are home alone and the electricity fails during a severe storm, Davey panics. Later he imagines what he should have done.
Louder Please
A deaf neighbor teaches Davey to appreciate all the sounds in the world around him.
Ready Or Not
After a lecture by Mrs. Reed on caring for the world (and keeping your room neat), Davey and Jonathan clean up a favorite city park gone to rack and ruin (and rats).
Kum Ba Yah
Davey and Jonathan decide to help the church with a bell choir. They rehearse "Kum Ba Yah" with Cisco, whose mynah bird offends Goliath because nobody understands Goliath except Davey. The bell choir disbands until Pastor Miller has a little talk with Davey about the meaning of the song.

Davey imagines gruesome revenges against a new kid who's crossed him.
Pieces of Eight
Fascinated by pirates and buried treasure, Davey buries a tin box containing the Jickets club treasury. When a hard rain washes away the box, Davey replaces the money.
Chicken
Trying to prove he isn't a chicken at heart, Davey attempts a dangerous leap and winds up in the hospital.
Doghouse Dreamhouse
After a rough start, Davey builds a doghouse for Goliath, whose original doghouse was destroyed by a storm.
Good Bad Luck
Davey's class goes on a field trip to the woods. He's resentful of his teacher's strict guidance, and becomes lost.
The Watchdogs
Davey witnesses a robbery, but doesn't want to get involved until Officer Dan and Mr. Hansen succeed in teaching Davey the real meaning of the Golden Rule.
Come, Come to the Fair
Davey's Sunday School class hosts a folk fair where the children learn about the ways different cultures celebrate and remember Jesus.
