Pedro Bial chats with Manoel Carlos about 70 years of television. Maneco left his mark on pioneering programs such as "Família Trapo," "Essa noite se improvisa," and "Hebe Camargo," in addition to being one of the creators of Fantástico. In 1978 he wrote his first telenovela, "Maria Maria," and, more than 20 telenovelas later, became one of the country's leading playwrights.
