Ever since the trial, David's depression has been spiraling, this time finally putting him down a dark path that only Vic can fish him out of. Meanwhile, his kids, Luke and Sophia, get into high school, becoming part of the main cast.
Ripple Effect
The guys help Ira move into a new office after they sell the old laundromat office for money. Luke's friends convince him to try alcohol. David tries to make amends and checks himself into AA.
Wish on a Star
David's depression seems to fade away when he meets Valerie Scott at an AA meeting and the two of them pursue a relationship.
Fool's Gold
Vic discovers how to easily exploit Butchie's fortune. He and Ira come up with a plan to slowly bleed Butchie dry over time. Meanwhile, Cindy gets pregnant and chooses to keep it to herself.
Cindy
Cindy grapples with her pregnancy while Sammy tries his best to help her out without knowing what's wrong. Cindy kick-starts her addiction again, schedules an abortion, and desperately tries to see if the tests were wrong. None of these methods work. Meanwhile, the other guys go out on a quick deal for Ira. Eventually, Sammy finds out about the pregnancy when he discovers her body, dead from suicide, lying next to a positive test on their bathroom floor.
Empire
Butchie starts to grow suspicion about his bank account draining, but he doesn't know exactly who's doing it. Meanwhile, David confronts Luke about his drinking, bringing him into a heart-to-heart talk about his struggles.
Roses in Bloom
Luke and Sophia get into trouble at school, forcing David and Eileen to team up again and get them out of it. Bruce and Vic try to help Sammy recover from his devastating loss.
Nowhere In Minutes
After a deal gone wrong, the guys find themselves stranded in the Mojave with no way back. They try their hardest to get back to civilization, but constant disruptions prove it challenging.
Throw Down a Line
As Butchie starts to fully realize that someone is robbing him, Ira starts to take larger amounts to get as much as he possibly can. Despite being grounded, Luke and Sophia sneak out to go to a party.
Per Aspera Ad Astra
David and Vic find out that Dale has cancer. While they struggle with the diagnosis, the other guys take a much needed day off. The brothers discuss alternatives for when Dale dies.
The Turning of the Gears
Butchie finds out about the scam and exactly who's behind it, but he goes completely broke just before he can stop it. The guys quickly try to find a way to end things peacefully.
Hydrolysis
The guys are forced to deal with Butchie, in a rage with his fortune completely gone. They manage to calm him down and carry on with their lives. After a failed suicide attempt, Butchie asks the guys to keep working for them as a way to pay for what they did.
