Black Butler – Public School Arc
At the request of Queen Victoria, Earl Ciel Phantomhive goes to Weston College—a prestigious public academy for boys, known for its traditions and outstanding curriculum—to search for a relative of hers who has not returned home in months. Thanks to his noble status, the 13-year-old Ciel is swiftly able to enroll as a student, while his devilish butler Sebastian Michaelis assumes a teaching position at the school. Ciel does not anticipate being unable to locate the Queen's relative on campus. To make matters worse, he cannot request a meeting with the headmaster of the college, who may be the only person that knows anything pertaining to the disappearance. The only ones in frequent contact with the headmaster are the heads of the college dormitories, known as the Prefect 4 (P4): Edgar Redmond, Lawrence Bluewer, Herman Greenhill, and Gregory Violet.

Ciel begins attending England’s prestigious Weston College. This insular school values tradition, is bound by strict discipline, and is ruled by the prefects of its four boarding houses, collectively known as "P4".
His Butler, In Disguise
Ciel builds his reputation within the school in order to get close to the P4. His success grants him the opportunity to participate in an exclusive gathering reserved only for prefects and their drudges. However, this meeting doesn't go as expected.
His Butler, Plotting
Ciel decides to pay back Maurice Cole for his underhanded trick. Since Maurice lives in a different boarding house, he arranges a special exemption for an acquaintance to be admitted to Weston so that he can monitor Maurice.
His Butler, Colluding
Ciel wins the P4's trust, but he still can't find a chance to get close to the Head Master. And so he brings up the subject of Derrick Arden with the P4 and their drudges. When he does, the expressions on the prefects' faces change...
His Butler, Gaining Admittance
Ciel hears some promising information: the ever-busy Head Master will be attending Weston's traditional cricket tournament, and evidently the student who exhibits the most sportsmanlike behaviour will be invited to the Head Master's "midnight tea party."
His Butler, Scheming
Ciel is chosen to play cricket, but the boys of Sapphire Owl House are the perennial wooden spooners. They've had just one victory in the history of the tournament. Ciel resolves to wrest another victory for his House—without any miracles.
His Butler, Final Match
Ciel and the rest of Sapphire Owl House have won their way into the deciding match. As the cricketers exercise their talents to the fullest, Sebastian pursues the Head Master, who has appeared at last.
His Butler, Locking Up
At the boat parade that caps off the cricket tournament, Ciel vows once again to learn the truth and present it to Queen Victoria.
His Butler, Having a Laugh
His efforts in the cricket tournament having succeeded, Ciel now has an invitation to a tea party sponsored by Weston College's absolute monarch: the Head Master.
His Butler, Assenting
The truth behind the disappearances of Derrick Arden and the others comes to light. What's more, Ciel discovers that a former Phantomhive ally has been involved all along.
His Butler, Taking Off
His duty as the Queen's guard dog complete, Ciel and his servants take a trip to London to inspect new Funtom Company goods. Later, Sebastian is reunited with someone unexpected.
