This is the evening dedicated to Zoë Livay—the group’s youngest singer—who broke through with the song ‘Ik zing’ and impresses audiences with candid songs about her personal life. Yves Berendse performs ‘Patronen’, a song in which Zoë sings about the complex relationship with her mother. Jeangu Macrooy performs ‘Iemand anders’, a song about pretending to be someone else in order to gain acceptance—an experience both he and Zoë have shared in the past.
