A Woman Called Moses stars Cicely Tyson as real-life escaped slave Harriet Tubman. Her new owner claims to be a fair man, but treats her harshly, this provides her with the inspiration to escape for Freedom in the North. Once there she is inspired to go back to help others. Orson Welles narrates this adaptation of Marcy Heidish's novel.
