Episodes

Episode 1
The first episode is inspired by the Herdman family of Sion Mills, who had a vision of creating a model village and achieved it against all odds. The first challenge tasks the designers with making an apron from pre-loved linen garments, while in the six hour challenge, the designers must create a ‘sunday best’ look from linen.

Episode 2
Celebrating the needlework and thrift craft skills of the girls and women of the Ards peninsula, the designers take on sustainability fashion challenges using pre-loved garments.

Episode 3
It’s elimination week and the designers must come up with their own modern twist on the classic power suit, inspired by the Ulster-Scots families behind Belfast’s cotton industry.

Episode 4
The two finalists create celebratory woven garments inspired by the story of the Rhyming Weavers, but only one designer will be crowned the series winner of A Stitch through Time.
