When his flatmate, Alec Potter, borrows a ladder without informing the boss, Norman tries to fix the situation but finds himself in a precarious position.

Norman and the boss's daughter should both be happy as he searches for a birthday gift for her. However, Alec plays a trick, leaving Norman in a risky situation.
