The Painter
Shi Qi, a painter for courtesans, is engaged by Shen Qin, daughter of the prime minister. She wants Shi Qi to draw a portrait for her in exchange for her sister's whereabouts.
Transformation
Shi Qi wakes up to find out she became Shen Qin. And she would have to marry Han Xiaosheng. She immediately tries to escape.
A Deal
Shen Qin threatens Shi Qi to do her bidding unless she wants her sister to die. Shi Qi agrees to a deal made by Shen Qin, which is to assume her identity and get married to Xiao Hansheng until Shen Qin gives birth to her child.
A Familiar Stranger
Shi Qi returns to Xiao Hansheng. Hansheng is suddenly reminded of his encounter with Shi Qi long ago. He feels something familiar with this woman standing in front of him.
An Order
Shen Qin forces Shi Qi to find out what Han Xiaosheng had gotten from the crown prince's body. Meanwhile, Han Xiaosheng's daughter seems to rely on Shi Qi a lot.
The Wound on Her Shoulder
Han Xiaosheng discovers the wound on Shi Qi's shoulder. Xiaosheng is sure that the Shen Qin that he is seeing right now is in fact Shi Qi.
A Trap
Yun Nuo believes that there must be a secret intention behind Shen Qin's decision to marry Xiao Hansheng. Shi Qi falls into his trap.
My Secret
Shi Qi tells Xiao Hansheng that she has a secret she cannot tell him yet. Xiao Hansheng says he will wait until she's able to tell him the secret.
Investigation
Xiao Hansheng is confused when he learns about Shen Qin's personality and preferences during his investigation. But he's very sure that this is the woman that he's been searching for since long ago.
Another Trap
Xiao Hansheng receives intel that Eunuch Han is hiding in the refugee camp outside the city, not knowing that it's a trap. It was a trap set by the Prince of Ning. Shi Qi rushes to the refugee camp to save Xiao Hansheng.
Intimacy
Shi Qi was struck by an arrow. Xiao Hansheng closely takes care of Shi Qi after she was wounded. The two have gotten closer during the process.
Pregnancy
Shi Qi finds out that she's pregnant with Xiao Hansheng's baby. However, Prince of Ning thinks that the baby is his and regrets abandoning Shen Qin in the first place.
Is This a Joke?
Shen Qin feels like the world is making fun of her, after learning that Prince of Ning has fallen for someone else due to her plan.
The Evidences
Xiao Hansheng discovers an old painting of Shi Qi. With all the evidences he has gathered, he's now sure that she is the person he has been looking for.
A Confession
Prince of Ning falls deeply for Shi Qi. He finally tells Xiao Hansheng that Shen Qin is in fact pregnant with his child. Shi Qi confesses that she isn't Shen Qin, and says that she can prove it.
Her True Identity
Prince of Ning is in despair after learning the truth of Shi Qi's identity. Meanwhile, Han Xiaosheng and Shi Qi finally finds a way to prove the jade belongs to Prince Zi Heng.
My Sister
Shen Qin wants to kill Shi Qi, but is stopped by Prince of Ning. Shi Qi explains that the person that had been beside him was Shen Qin. Shi Qi finally manages to save her sister but finds out that the person is actually Shen Qin.
To Die With You
Prince of Ning confesses that he purposely let the crown prince die from an asthma attack, but he refuses to turn himself in. He commits suicide and Shi Qi's sister chooses to die with him.
