Jo is battling the HSC blues. She is struggling with school and work and arguing with everyone. Jeff and Jill appear to be the perfect couple but looks can be deceiving. A girl's attraction to married man leads to a dangerous turn of events. Jo ends up in hospital as a patient when she collapses out of sheer exhaustion.
