Michael Symon and Esther Choi begin the second shift with two chefs in a head-to-head elimination that tests simplicity; the 12 remaining chefs face a tricky taste test from judge Graham Elliot.
Shift 3: Resourcefulness
In a shift that tests resourcefulness, Michael Symon and Esther Choi ask the 11 remaining chefs to create a three-course meal worthy of a black-tie event in 60 minutes; judge Jet Tila decides which chef will be clocking out.
Shift 4: Artistry
The chefs prepare artwork-inspired food for judge Fariyal Abdullahi.
Shift 5: Adaptability
The chefs turn breakfast into a different meal for judge Brooke Williamson.
Shift 6: Teamwork
Frustration and fatigue mounts in hour 16 as co-hosts Michael Symon and Esther Choi ask the eight remaining chefs to work in teams to make a soup and sandwich, all while handling three culinary curveballs that threaten to ruin their chances at survival. After the first challenge, one team is safe while the other team is left to keep on battling. Judges Carlos Anthony and Brian Malarkey decide who will move on to shift seven.
Shift 6: Risk Taking
The chefs make spicy street food and a fish dish for judge Andrew Zimmern.
Shift 8: Elevation, Part 1
In the final shift, Michael Symon and Esther Choi give the five remaining chefs a familiar challenge before asking them to create an elevated breakfast, lunch and dinner for judges Antonia Lofaso, Graham Elliot and Jet Tila.
Shift 8: Elevation, Part 2
After more than 20 nonstop hours, Michael Symon and Esther Choi ask the final chefs to create an elevated lunch and dinner; judges Antonia Lofaso, Graham Elliot and Jet Tila decide who will win $75,000 and the title of "Last Chef Standing."
