At Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, a patient is rushed to Resus with multiple stab wounds to his chest and back. Also in Resus, 87-year-old Eunice is coughing up large amounts of blood, while 15-year-old Tyler is in A&E with his mum Claire after injuring his foot playing football.
Without Warning
In Nottingham, David's collapsed at home with a suspected stroke. Cecil's in A&E after his motorbike crashed at 130mph. Tanya's had a possible seizure on a night out.
After The Storm
Decorator Philip has fallen 12 feet from a ladder. Liam flew off the back of a motorbike at high speed. Three-year-old Jonah has injured his elbow while playing with his mum.
Hanging On
Eleven-year-old William has been hit by a car and thrown 30 feet; 68-year-old Stephen is struggling to breathe; and Ryan has broken his arm at rugby.
Unbroken Ties
A ten-week-old baby has choked on his milk at home. Fiftysomething Tony has a flesh-eating leg infection. And is the bruising on Gerald’s leg more serious than he realises?

A young woman has inexplicably collapsed while she was out running. At Queen's, the A&E doctors play detective to figure out why she collapsed.
