Sylvie Meis (born April 13, 1978, in Breda; known as Sylvie van der Vaart from 2005 to 2013) is a Dutch presenter, "It girl," and model based in Germany. She first rose to fame as the wife of footballer Rafael van der Vaart. Her television career began in 2003 at the Dutch music channel TMF, after she successfully auditioned there to become a presenter.
