Sydney Hightower

Biography

Born March 30, 1995, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Sydney Nicole Hightower grew up in a biracial household as the daughter of a White mother and a Black and Dominican father. She experienced racism firsthand growing up in the South, including having her family's home vandalized and other unfortunate incidents.
