"Lek" Saran Sakornsin was an actor and model of Thai-Chinese descent born in Nakhon Sawan. Lek's father died before he was born and his mother re-married, leaving him to live with his grandmother. So his grandmother was pretty much his only family member. Lek was considered to be one of the most famous teen idols of his time and was often paired up with Thun Tonawanig for magazine shoots to whom he bore a striking resemblance.
