Biography
Ruben Pieter Brekelmans (Leidschendam, July 18, 1986) is a Dutch politician representing the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (VVD). Since February 10, 2026, he has been the parliamentary group leader of the VVD in the House of Representatives. From July 2, 2024, to February 23, 2026, he served as Minister of Defence in the Schoof cabinet.
