Biography
Naoko Asari (浅梨 なおこ, Asari Naoko, born January 24) is a Japanese film sound engineer and animation sound director from Tokyo. She joined Omnibus Promotion in 1981 as a sound assistant. She mainly worked on Studio Ghibli works, and after that, she worked on many live-action, film music and sound editing. After being away from the animation sound direction for a long time since the 1996 TV anime Kodocha, she was in charge of the recording direction of the 2013 movie The Tale of the Princess Kaguy...
